ANALYSIS

Every project that Roaming Terra Engineering works on, the project and or product has a technical write up for the buyer. This technical write-up explains the hardware utilized for the analysis, material, strength capacity or product and recommendation on use within a single document that is mailed with each product. This is not an option, but a requirement from Roaming Terra Engineering. We want people to feel confident about the components they are installing on their personal rigs will survive the abuse day in and day out.

Classical

The majority of the analysis performed here at Roaming Terra Engineering is conducted via classical hand calculations on pad and paper. Classical is a tried and true method that results in a conservative analytical approach. Additionally, unless the subjected to an intense loading condition, the analysis really only requires knowledge of beam formulas / equations, understanding load path and basic math of algebra and geometry. Therefore, with careful approach and explanation, anyone could follow the analysis understanding what was performed.

 Finite Element Analysis [F.E.A]

Upon an increase of complexity or required assumptions to simplify for classical hand calculations, computer software will be utilized. This allows for any request to become possible to analyze, just requires more knowledge to understanding and setup. However, the use of computer software requires more time as now a model needs to be created for the software to use, but an increased in accuracy of the design strength will be determined.
